Welcome to the Online Shop of Jan Künster
On the following pages, we present a wide selection of works by Jan Künster (1951–2025), showcasing his diverse artistic talent. The internationally renowned artist's legacy is continued by his wife and their three children, who now continue the work of the publishing house.
His work is featured in museums, prestigious private collections, and countless homes worldwide—from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, from the North Cape to Cape Town. He created commissions for royalty, equestrian elites, Olympians, celebrities, and other prominent figures. Jan Künster is considered the founder of modern equine art, characterized by his artistic style using primarily acrylic and watercolor. In addition to equine art, he dedicated his work to depictions of Cologne and the Rhineland, where his artworks have achieved cult status.
